For those of you who dread dental appointments, we want you to rest assured that we have a great deal of empathy for your apprehension. For the vast majority of people, cleanings are quick, simple and painless. We will examine your mouth, teeth and possibly take x-rays. We check your gums for any inflammation and then proceed to scrape off plaque and tartar. After this comes some gritty toothpaste to professionally scrub the teeth clean, then an expert flossing and the final step is a fluoride treatment. See how easy that was?
